MOW commitment for our environment
The project
The protection and promotion of ecological diversity is a matter very close to our heart. Recently, we therefore acquired some woolly helpers to keep our green space nice and tidy: A small herd of sheep from a regional shepherd now grazes our grassland, the site of our PV system. With this and two other systems, we generate some of our power in-house, reducing our carbon footprint in the process.
Our new residents are genuine biodiversity champions. We are avoiding the use of chemicals and technology and relying on natural green habitat care. This gives the area an opportunity to flourish to its full majesty. The sheep provide gentle grazing and help to preserve and promote biodiversity and maintain natural habitats. As a result, a colorful mix of flowers and herbs now grows in our meadow, attracting birds, insects and our MS bees.
